Finisher!

After 8 months of careful preperation,and absolutely limitless patience, and support from Kalaina, I finished the Tulsa World Route 66 Marathon yesterday. My closest friend and training buddy Jayme finished also. This was his first marathon finish, so it was a very big deal for him. We traveled down with the Kansas Air Guard Marathon Team. Never before has a kinder, and more humble group of runners been assembeled. These guys have been at this for years and showed no sign of arrogance, or snobbery. They were always ready to help with advice, or to help with equipment preperation. I am very proud to even be associated with those guys and hope to run with them for years to come. If any of you reads this and tells them I will totally deny it, so don't even try it. Overall it was a great experience, and I hope to do more in the future. I am going to take a week off and start training for the next one after Thanksgiving.
