Frustration Builds (It's my website I can gripe if I want to)!

My breaking point is quickly approaching. Since 2001 we have had ZERO job security. Now we have a BRAC to contend with. This means power has shifted away from normalcy to absolute lunacy. The premise is; there are people who will lose their jobs, in order to weed out the future unemployed, we must establish a series of games. By games I mean a series of hoops you have to jump through...You need to take a class for the job you may or may not eventually get...You have to write a resume and interview for your future job, which by the way is guaranteed you through collective bargaining rights....You have to read books about some authors idea of perfect management, that may or may not be correct.....And to top it all off you have to maintain a mellow attitude as if nothing were going on so your boss can give a report after the interview reguarding your demeanor. The weeding may well end up being accomplished without any paperwork. I for one am dangerously close to throwing my hands up and going elsewhere. Hello civilian employers? Is anyone there?
