The Dragon is slain....Bring on the misery

Today was an active rest/recovery day. We went to the gym and walked a little way on the treadmill. After that we lifted some weights, mainly focusing on getting a good leg workout. Even though the fittness test was a total joke, I still am a little sore today. I guess I'm not used to running such a short distance so fast. Usually training consists of 5-7 miles of 9:30-10- M/P/Mile training pace.
I also did something I never thought I'd do this morning, and that is Yoga. Having really noticed my lack of flexibility lately(and wholeheartedly beleiving that most inuries are due to a lack thereof) I wanted to do something. So I turned on PBS at 6 this morning and did 15 mins of yoga. It's not so bad...Under cover of darkness that is. Seemed to really relax me though. I will definately make that an addition to my morning routine.
