103 Down 341 Guard Drills to go

This wasn't a bad weekend overall. I had M-16 training this weekend. So take solace in the fact that jet mechanics can shoot. I plan to run later today. This is such a busy week I REALLY need to work out.
Tonight I have class until 5:30, then I have to go straight home and have been afforded the opportunity to give a talk to A High School men's group about brotherhood. I haven't spent one second preparing for this. Also I have been asked to speak on how stewardship has effected our family. This is meant to move people to give more than the standard one hour per week to God. Parishioners will be asked to make a yearly commitment of their tine, talent, and treasure to both God and the Parrish.
Also I have been asked to speak to our youth about the political processes at work in our world today. This will be directed mostly at social issues like abortion, same sex marriage, euthanasia, stem cell research, and human cloning. These are key issues for all Christian voters, but WILL be considered non-negotiables for Catholic voters. To vote in good conscience Catholic voters MUST vote for canidates who, regardless of party affiliation, will vote their conscience on these issues. This may sound harsh on the part of Mother Church, however, we as Catholic Christians have a moral, ethical and spiritual duty to defend our most defenseless, against the culture of death pushed on us by liberal canidates. Canidates like Paul Morrison running for AG of Kansas has shown that idealistic partisan agendas and efforts to buy the office are more important to their party than basic right and wrong. Right and wrong may be hard to interpret for today's liberal Democrat, because their ideals constantly force them to suppress it.
I'll wait for the hatemail now.

Mikey
